Hello. I am just enquiring about the bike name Cimatti,I know of the founder Marco Cimatti & certain team members of the 1948/49 Giro team cimatti.My reason for contacting you is i am trying to restore a `48/49/50 team Cimatti frame,As you have some photos of some of the riders such as Ezio Checchi etc i am wondering if you have any photos of the actual Cimatti bikes of those years,Fortunatly the bike is in excellent condition & there is some remanants of the original decals That i can see where they will go once the bike is restored but still not 100% sure where most will be & would like to see what parts were used also. The bike although the paint is pretty bad you can see that it was green with red seat stay caps which i believe was the team colours. Once restored if you like i can send some pics to put on your data base,I hope you can help as this marque is almost lost in time & it would be good to have this name survive through time.
