During his cycling career Guy was Canadian Road Champion 8 times.
He also road the track and participated in numerous 6 day track races in Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Delhi and New-York. Subsequent to racing Guy became a 6 day race promoter.
In the mid-sixties he became President of the Canadian Cycling Association. One of Guy's greatest accomplishments was getting Montreal selected to host the 1974 World Cycling Championships. It was the first time the Worlds were held outside of Europe.
Guy passed away in January of 2007.
