Team Milram will make its debut on Wednesday in the 49th Grand Prix de Wallonie (September 16 / UCI Cagetory 1.1).  Led by once-again healthy allrounder Fabian Wegmann, the team will take on the 203.8 kilometers through the Belgian region of Wallonia.

„This is a challenging race over a difficult course,“ is how Christian Henn, Directeur Sportif, described the upcoming race.  „The course runs along the edge of the Ardennes and so is quite rolling.  The finale up the Citadelle de Namur is especially difficult and that will be one for the Classics specialists around Fabian Wegmann.“

Fabian Wegmann will be supported in the one-day race by Johannes Fröhlinger, who is also healthy again, as well as Markus Eichler, Artur Gajek, Servais Knaven, Niki Terpstra, Peter Velits, Peter „Paco“ Wrolich and Ronny Scholz.  „With this strong team, including five Tour de France starters, we want to do something in Belgium,“ said Christian Henn about the team's goal.

Team line-up:

Markus Eichler (GER/Jülich), Johannes Fröhlinger (GER/Freiburg im Breisgau), Artur Gajek (GER/Bergisch Gladbach), Servais Knaven (NED/Meerle, BEL), Ronny Scholz (GER/Herrenberg), Niki Terpstra (NED/Haarlem), Peter Velits (SVK/Riemst, BEL), Fabian Wegmann (GER/Freiburg im Breisgau), Peter Wrolich (AUT/Klagenfurt)
